CASE STUDY: Male ex-politician finds purpose with identity work

Background: James* is a 60-year-old ex-politician who served in the government for over 20 years. During his time in politics, he became very successful and was known for his strong leadership skills. However, after he retired from politics, James began to struggle with his sense of purpose and identity. He felt lost and unsure about what to do next in his life. He came to me seeking guidance and support in finding his true self and purpose.

Approach: As a transpersonal coach, I used a variety of tools and techniques to help James explore his identity and find his purpose. One of the key tools I used was my synaesthesia, which allowed me to tap into his energy and gain insights about his true self.

During our sessions, we delved into his past experiences and explored the values and beliefs that were driving his behaviours. We also worked on developing his emotional intelligence, which helped him become more self-aware and better able to manage his emotions.

To help James find his purpose, we worked on identifying his strengths and passions. We used exercises to explore his values and what was truly important to him. We also explored his life goals and how he could achieve them.

Outcome: After several months of transpersonal identity work, James found a renewed sense of purpose and direction in his life. He discovered that he had a passion for helping others and decided to start an education foundation. He also became more balanced and self-aware, and became more empathetic towards others. James was able to establish deeper and more meaningful relationships with his family and friends.

Through my transpersonal identity work, James was able to find his purpose and regain a sense of balance and direction in his life. He discovered that he had the power to create positive change in the world, beyond his political career.
