What IS Dark Branding and why is it so compelling?
Dark Branding is DIFFERENCE.
A Dark Brand is a brand founded in DIFFERENCE (not "authenticity").
Dark Branding is both a philosophy and a process for finding the most-hidden element/paradox inside an individual and using that as the foundation for a truly cutting-edge brand that looks and feels like art. Dark Branding is my original (trademarked and proprietary) creation, and no-one else in the world is doing this work.
Dark Branding is the 'usable' arm of my specific aesthetic and philosophy – Darkism, Darkology...
By usable, I mean you can apply it. It takes the intangible and makes it tangible for you and for the rest of the world, in order to effect the response you require (attention, authority, legacy, love etc).
My Dark Aesthetic – Elegant, edgy, fine detail and texture, high art, untold storytelling and history, sophisticated colour palettes, complicated concepts, filled with tension and juxtaposed imagery and ideas (juxtaposition – SO important), unsettling, lyrically beautiful, enigmatic restrained
My Dark Philosophy – That what is hidden is most true, and what is most true is most beautiful.
